Located within Fitwork's West Chester Mega-Center, Game On! is unlike anything you've experienced before! Here, you'll find a high-energy space filled with extreme games that engage your body and senses in exciting, action-packed physical activities that power the games. Compete against the machine or your friends (other players). All while engaging your senses with heart-pounding music and neon lights! At Game On! we've taken the excitement and competitiveness of traditional gaming, married it with computer technology and fitness, and packaged it into an exciting arcade-like environment complete with tournament play and a moving laser light show. And the best part is that all of the games are powered by your activity and movement! If you enjoy movement and gaming you will LOVE Game On!
Who is Game On! For? Anyone! Whether you are 8 or 80 , an avid athlete or a fitness novice, if you love movement and gaming you will love Game On! Friends love to compete against one another. Families love to compete..... dad's against sons....mom's against daughters....brothers against brothers. And the list goes on. But it doesn''t stop here, Game On! can even be reserved for Birthday Parties, Corporate team building events, entire Boyscout & Girlscout Troops, Seniors Day Out, Sports Banquets, and Soccer, Football, & Baseball team members. Custom party packages are available for just about any special occasion or group of people imaginable. Or simply come on in and compete against the machines (human competitors NOT required!).
Do I have to be a Member of Fitworks to Play at Game On!? Absolutely not. Game On! is available to both members and non-members alike.
Is a Parent Required to be on the Premises? A parent is required to be on the premises for children 8 to 15 years of age.
Why Game On!? While Game On! is for all ages, childhood obesity levels are at a record high. Kids & teens love passing the time playing video games. With Game On! we saw an opportunity to provide kids with an outlet for physical activity by combining it with the one activity all seem to love----computer driven gaming. It's like getting a kid to eat fruit by covering it in sugar, though there's no downside to the sweetener we've added.
What are the Benefits of Game On!? Aside from sparking the thrill of competition and achievement, Game On! can aid in improving stress levels, weight management, and fitness and health. Some play to get a great workout while others play simply for the entertainment and social interaction of it all.
How Much Does Game On! Cost? Whether you are interested in an annual pass, a monthly, weekly or day pass, Game On! offers a variety of packages to choose from including special packages for groups and special events. Can I Stop in Anytime to Play? Our hours are listed in the upper right hand corner. And while you can stop in anytime, we recommend that you call or view our Open Play Schedule here online (coming soon) before stopping by because we close from time to time for parties and special events that have been booked in advance.
